if you are unable to trade with @etrade through MT today, just FYI, contrary to what their support tells you if you call, the issue is NOT in MT. the issue is that the keys they provide us to connect via the API - expired. And it is next to impossible to get a hold of anyone there.

@etrade If the first name in an existing E*TRADE Employee Stock Plan account has more than 17 characters, the system does not allow the savings account to be created. I have contacted customer service multiple times, but they have been unable to resolve the issue.

Gotta say, @etrade has the worst “real time” data for extended hours trading. The bid/ask is so delayed vs. real time. If i want to place an extended hours trade on Etrade, i need to first check Webull for the real bid/ask price and then place an Etrade order accordingly 😑

@etrade just locked me out of THREE accounts for over a week because of a transfer IN to a simple checking account. They requested many things, nothing worked. Phone calls every few days. Finally got ahold of someone that would help me but it took 7 days. NEVER trust these banks - and the bigger they are, the less you can trust them (over processed and they control you). You are NOT a customer - you are a number.

Warning: @etrade 1. Etrade is dumping their PRO Trading platform on August 15th 2. There new platform is severely limited in capabilities 3. Etrade holds your dividends until 11 PM on the paydate or the following trading day especially on weekends. 4. Etrade still cannot show the trading info for the US Dollar index $DXY - told me its a issue???????

@iDhanish @etrade You think that's bad, try transferring in money and they lock your account for over a week. Avoid etrade at all cost - went downhill since Morgan bought them.

So I have been using Etrade Pro for about 10 years now. I've made a lot of money on that platform @etrade . They haven't fixed the bugs on it in years but nonetheless I've used it because its that pretty of a platform. But now, they are getting closer and closer to releasing Power Etrade Pro, their new trading platform. And let me tell you, if this is the final version, I'll be forced to change brokers whenever they decide to shut down the version I've used for years. The new version is clunky, window sizing isn't good, top margins on the windows are thicccc, time and sales window won't allow me to make is smaller without having to use a scroll bar, time and sales won't let me get rid of the bid/ask collumn, L2 after hours doesn't work, and I can go on and on. I'll be looking at @trade0us , @TradeLightspeed and whatever broker the comments recommend. Just not TOS. They are banning successful day traders and I want no part of that.

ok @etrade - here's a question from those outside the US. If you've lost/broken your phone the only way to reset your 2fa is to call a call center on a US number and pay an unpredicatable call charge. Why don;t you use a normal 2FA system like everyone else?

@etrade Your mobile app is just... horrible. I love etrade, but my god. It's messy, convoluted, the least user friendly app I've ever used. Tell your programers to look at Sofi. THAT'S how your app should look and feel. I'm sure this tweet will go unnoticed, but -- just trying to help.
