    And after getting an agent, telling him the problem, I got a boilerplate answer about how balances are calculated rather then the agent addressing the error. His follow up - after 20+ minutes of wasted time - was to tell me to call @etrade. We've institutionalized failure.

    @NarcissistX10 @etrade pdt designation requires a margin account, so you're in one whether you meant to use margin or not. that 25k equity minimum is another tripwire sitting next to the 1.1% cash problem.

    Had a check washed (fraudulently cashed) from @etrade account. Filed a police report, filled out required paper work and it has been over 40 days. No resolution, despite weekly calls to customer service. Really shocking they aren't fixing this like normal banks.

    @etrade Bad look and no info on the downage. Def need to move a chunk of my money to my Fidelity acct so I can at least have more balance. This happens too often with this platform.

    @etrade is the worst financial institution. For three weeks they have locked me out of my own money due to "suspected fraud". They mirror my account, new log in credentials and they are giving me the rounds. Abuse by corporate america
