Disney didn't spend 4 billion dollars to have the first Star Wars film in cinemas after 7 years absence become its - likely - lowest performing movie to date. They were planning a billion dollar movie every year into infinity! And yet for this movie the level of excitement is zero. As I said, one of the worst cases in history of franchise mismanagement.

Little too much plot armor. Not the worst recent Star Wars film but felt like a big budget TV show. 6/10

The problem before was they opened too many but if you limit the number you create scarcity and demand while still connecting the brand to the public where they live.
