I think Disney has the worst marketing department of any of the major studios

@warrbo @mattyglesias This analysis is beyond idiotic. Disney didn't spend 4 billion dollars to have the first Star Wars film in cinemas after 7 years absence become its - likely - lowest performing movie to date. They were planning a billion dollar movie every year into infinity! And yet for this movie the level of excitement is zero. As I said, one of the worst cases in history of franchise mismanagement.

Hey @AMCTheatres - the Disney Springs theater has been hit with tech issues but Ashleigh, Tyler, and Bri are being absolute rockstars handling this down time!

@OC_Scanner @joevezz Of course not. It’s just a terrible example of the outsized power Disney has that they’re remaining open while at significant risk and we are all made to evacuate from areas at far less risk

@mattyglesias Disney destroyed Star Wars by inficting it with modern ideology, terrible scripts, bad casting and poor directors. You can only **** on something for so long before a fan base/audiences abandon it.

On another note, how did Din get out of that thing without caving it in? Was he just aware the whole time he was in a hut and carefully shimmied out? If I’d just woke up I’d sit up and ruin Grogu’s work. An I expecting too much logic for a Disney Star Wars film?

@Yoteperson It shows that a more mature story can be told, and the audience doesn't need to be treated like sub-90 IQ Disney adult goy retards. I have my issues with it, but I say, since it does spoil, and you might watch it. I can give you access to the evil site so you don't have to pay.

@MyTimeToShineH Leave it to Marvel/Disney to continue to make Iron Man look weaker than the comic book....but you are correct on this issue about easily won.....should have just blown a hole in Cap like he did in Iron Man 3 to the extremist guy on the airplane

  • StacyBehr
    Coach Stacy (@StacyBehr) reported

Saw The Mandalorian and Grogu. It was… ok. My kid likes it. Felt like an extended Disney ride plus a surprising number of scary monster fights scattered throughout. Little too much plot armor. Not the worst recent Star Wars film but felt like a big budget TV show. 6/10

@DrewDisneyDude I think having a few permanent Disney Stores open across the country in high traffic areas is a great idea. The problem before was they opened too many but if you limit the number you create scarcity and demand while still connecting the brand to the public where they live.
