@theotherLAPhil @ParkObsession No. It’s not a separate gripe. You’re asserting that you have more right to the park but you don’t. Walt was himself absolutely a “Disney adult” The real problem you’re describing is entitlement & bad manners, which is hardly limited to childless ppl -

@elvenmaidinn The Star Destroyer *misses* several shots though. That suggests poor sensors compared to the Federation. What matters in the end is the quality of the story, so thanks to Paramount and Disney, we lose either way.

@AThinksAloud I don’t think the problem is really “Disney Adults” so much as Disney catering to them at the expense of other ages/groups. Walt’s vision was a park that could be enjoyed by every generation, simultaneously.

@TheOptimisticC3 It's comical how Lucas both created and ruined his franchise (quality-wise) and Disney will never be able to redeem it because they don't produce 'real cinema.'

@CCharmanderK Which, THX was and in some ways is still an important certification. It was a badge of quality. If Disney is serious about this & it helps drive traffic to theaters, they might play ball on it.

@mariannwolfebe1 One of mine just did band. Two others did various bands and orchestras. Our city is very big on their music programs. The directors were all very strict about code of conduct. When the boys went to Disney with marching band back in 2012 it was made clear that if they broke the rules that they would be shipped home and parents would be responsible for cost. They had zero issues.

@BD_Neagle_ It's like a whole bunch of shills in unison got paid by Disney to defend their worst mistakes. Sorry dude, this movie is garbage. The one after is even worse but that doesn't make this one not garbage.

@ronsterd89 Like a Disney princess, but they never help me out with my house chores..

  • XGirlNYC
    Rena (@XGirlNYC) reported

That's another problem, most don't want to move there or just do AirBnb, Disney adults like spending money to stay at a Disney hotel just so they can tell people they stayed at a Disney hotel. It's illogical, but again remember who we're talking about.

@thatstarwarsgrl The Critical Drinker should do one of his "Crash and Burn" videos, but instead of an actor, do Disney. Because they seriously screwed the pooch big time with all their inclusivity. Absolutely no one cares about anything their doing now. Avengers Doomsday looks dreadful.

Like, I can’t blame Disney for taking advantage of people who have additional income and want to avoid lines or have reserved seating for parades and stuff. It prices families out but I get it. Disney’s real problem is the aging parks that seem to lack cohesive vision. You end up doing the premium experiences because the parks are just…fine?…now. I will say that the resort experience has improved dramatically.

@BenjaminAyers77 @wtfahhh0 Hate for no reason? It's a terrible movie, full of plots involving unbearable teenagers and teachers, generic clichés (including the villain), and, above all, a regression in the character. It feels like something from the Disney Channel; it's trash

  • michael_rispoli
    Michael Rispoli (@michael_rispoli) reported

@erikfinman These thing still don’t have car seats for kids nor can they accommodate larger families. This is a problem for taxis everywhere outside of Disney.

  • Norsehound

@ImmortalKekulis @Azrael007x @sw_holocron Resistance was it and it was ended before it had the chance to get better and improve. There were a few tie in novels to help expand the era too... Me personally I wanted to learn more but Disney is stubbornly refusing to go there. So all we got are the problematic movies.

@sircalebhammer The house of mouse is too expensive. Also all the other problems with Disney.
