  My AirPods were not working as well as they did when I first got them and I’m so glad I brought them into the Apple Store because I got a brand new pair under my limited warranty!!!

  The GPS on my iPhone gave out on me a few months back and would glitch every time I drove so I’d always end up lost. Well I was late picking up Steve from the airport today bc of it and he was so irritated he drove to the Apple Store and bought me a new phone 💀

  In the end, it wouldn’t work. The phone is totally locked down. It’s a brick. It’s nothing I can’t walk and they’re making me take it back to the Apple Store. I can’t get there so I’ve had this expensive phone sitting on my desk next to me. It doesn’t work I’m out $1700 because

  @Nitrix79 @_sorrengailll As someone who has parental controls set on an iPhone I can tell you they fail frequently. I replaced the phone thinking it was a phone issue and it was not. Went to the Apple Store and a store employee told me they hear about it happening all the time. Thank God, my child doesn’t even understand what I have blocked on the phone or what these phones can do but for example I will have FaceTime turned off as an app that is not allowed to be used and it will be toggled off but yet I can still FT from the phone. App Store will be turned off in the settings as will safari but yet they are still on the phone and able to be accessed. And none of it is ever constant - I don’t know when they will be working even though they are turned off. It is this insane game of what is the iPhone doing today that it shouldn’t be doing. I have seen other parents post about this issue also. So it is not quite as simple “as you can put parental controls on an iPhone dumbass”. But I totally wish it was bec that would be awesome.

  @9to5mac The South Hills Village in upper St. Clair Pennsylvania Apple store is the absolute worst. They are rude. You have to make an appointment to get in. Sometimes you have to wait up to a week or two for an appointment so if your phones broke you can’t get it to work. You’re just basically screwed. Apple has turned into a **** piece of ****. Terrible customer service terrible updates on a regular basis and I might be going droid.

  @Techn0Fox Android for me. Imo apple software is extremely watered down, and I don't want my phone telling me I can't download or change something. I don't wanna drive an hour to the closest apple store to get my wallet cleaned for basic hiccups. Poor business practices.

  @vladgeorgescu It absolutely can - and does - still happen. Had a problem while traveling with my son’s AirPod Pros. One of them gave us nothing but static. Made a same day appointment at the Apple Store. Wait was unusually long - almost 25 minutes. Manager came over and asked what we were waiting for .. I explained it to him, he (literally) went over to a shelf, handed me a new pair of AirPod Pros, said “Sorry we kept you waiting - let me just record the serial # off the new box so I can go in the back and add AppleCare. You have a fantastic day.” And that was that. Walked out with a completely new set of AirPod Pros, no cost, and with an AppleCare extension to boot. Had a good friend a few (short) years ago bring in an iMac for a drive replacement …. they called him the next day, someone accidentally dropped it off the desk. So they told him to come on in to the store and pick out any iMac model he wanted. Gratis. Customer service still lives at Apple.

  @RORVK either way though the apple store should theoretically be able to fix it easily.. or if for some reason not, at least migrate the hard drive for you or something. i have no idea about costs or anything for that though

  I went into the Apple store today, to fix my face ID, and they bring me back a inoperable phone with lines all through it. I get forced into having to get a new phone.

  @thabiimafabatho The actual problem is the resale value of phones is what’s killing us. All iPhones sold mo Mzans’ are being resold. (Even from iStore) The only Apple Store in Africa is in Egypt

  @lilpimpsocks One of mine randomly started giving staticky sounds and volume issues. Took it to the Apple Store, they tested it, and replaced the pair of em after confirming the issue even tho it was just out of warranty. Worth a try!
