    @Telstra What a wonderful scam. I spoke to Optus yesterday and they claim that downtime is automatically not billed on all plans. I'm getting sick of the Telstra model of high rates and high effort to get basic services. Sure, you'll rebate, but the burden is on the customer.

    @Telstra For the first time ever the outage page has an outage listed! Expected resolution time ticks down to a couple hours left then back to 2 days... So it's not very useful. It hasn't moved off "Investigating" and I know that you don't investigate faults on the weekend.

    @Telstra has a known issue with their crappy @bigpondmovie app with streaming to chromecast but they are more than happy to let people continue to spend money to try to use it and will only give you a “credit “ on the same platform which is useless. #notgoodenough

    So multiple reports of no nbn internet (or voip landlines for that matter) in Victoria and Tasmania for over two hours. Hold times of over an hour and a half, no online chat agents available, and most importantly no acknowledgement of the problem @telstra @andy_penn

    Day 5 of no internet. This isn’t a social experiment it’s another fricken @Telstra @Foxtel failure. Atrocious service. So called Foxtel “Case Management” team completely ignore emails. Resolution date keeps moving out every day. Day 7 is goodbye and good riddance to Telstra.

    Ever since recontracting my phone with Telstra a month ago, my visual voicemail hasn’t been working. Four calls to Telstra for support — the most recent time they claimed it was a “known issue on the iPhone XS” and that I should call Apple (which is obviously BS)

    @Telstra Just following up on this. I never did get around to calling, however a couple of days ago a thunderstorm caused a brief power cut, enough to reboot electrical devices. I suspect that this caused your equipment to also reboot, and now the speeds are back to normal.

    @MichaelWestBiz @Telstra I had the same problems with Telstra 16 years ago and ditched them and also Vodafone for Optus Other than about 3 outages for an hour or so max I couldn't be happier with Optus Telstra have always been an embarrassment God help us if Telstra purchase the NBN
