@bearcodeteeeps @_PLICE Yes.. the only way I could use it was through PayPal and not all merchants have PayPal on their website. So, I had to order physical card and I haven’t had any problem ever since I got it.

@Telstra No, they all work perfectly - including buying things with Paypal. I gave up and - after a few tries and fails to get back to the right page - paid by card. I did not want to do this. Seriously, Telstra's is the ONLY retail site I ever have problems with.

@CyberSnark Someone once hacked my login on a game website I only registered on to buy a cheap game with once and used then my PayPal to buy a few $500 PlayStation game codes to resell as they can't be cancelled or traced, PayPal eventually refunded me the list money 💰

I want more shops to offer paydirekt/giropay (Germany) payment methods over PayPal. PayPal is becoming such a pain to use. Today I needed to login 3 times and complete 2 captchas to send a payment and like last week it just told me "you must change your password"

@ITandCheese If the ticket has expired it is non-refundable, but due to the covid restrictions people are requesting refunds which need to be done via the team. We have passed on about the paypal issue which is being looked into. - Emily

So I have to wait 2 weeks to get my new ID, then I need to make a bank account and wait ANOTHER 2 weeks, THEN I need to make a new PayPal... PLUS, my onlyfans got hacked and won't let me verify to fix it. So now I have no money for rent or bills for this month OR next. Great.

So @Fandango not only ****** up my order and charged me for $70 for a movie I couldn't see because of THEIR processing error, but they later told me "No refunds." So I charged them back and Paypal took my side and claimed Fandango fraudulent. So Fandango banned my account.

@joshgiesbrecht @kcimc my issue with these discussions is it perpetuates the binary thinking of “blockchain bad, PayPal good”—yet an OSS distributed ledger for p2p payments is a valuable idea, and would likely be in alignment with much of the KS/patreon-only crowd if it was simply not called “crypto”
