@patrickkeneally What angers me is that I haven't been an Optus customer for 11 years, but apparently they still have my personal info. I already lost faith in them when they stuffed up world cup coverage, but at least it was nothing personal back then.

Where is the Communications Minister? MIA. The Optus Cyber Hack has compromised 9 MILLION customer's data. The Minister obviously has ZERO knowledge and experience!

  • agarner Adam Garner (@agarner) reported

Another risk assessment should have been done when connecting this API to a test network that was Internet connected. Again, Optus’s fault no matter how you slice it.

Can I suggest there’s no point ringing Optus customer service. Oh, yeah, if you’re a customer you might’ve worked that out before this.

  • OhGoodGord Gordon (@OhGoodGord) reported

@JustJul77588855 Jeezuz Jules, I have 3 mobiles and a watch (business) and NBN /home phone with them I’m dreading the possibility. I did change some passwords today, the Optus login was the most difficult 😡 took me several attempts.

Yo @Optus since everyone else has my email address and phone number now (plus drivers license) it would be nice if you used it and didn’t expect me to go to your website for information. I shouldn’t hear from this **** in the news #OptusDataBreach
