    @Optus I have tried to get hold of you numerous times on the phone but the delays are so long that I’m told you may not answer today. This tweet is just evidence as documentation that I am doing all I can to resolve an issue but my hands are tied as you’re too short staffed.

    @bennydee80 @Optus Learnt this 13 years ago Ben. As expected they haven’t lifted their game. The sooner you realise that service and reliability is worth more than a few extra $$ you will then stay clear of Optus for life. If they offered free service and phones I would still say no to them

    @Optus just made an international regular outgoing call on the optus network to a friend who obviously has saved my number so ideally should have my name flashing as caller ID. But the caller ID was showing as +5065. U reckon there’s an error? Can share the screenshot on DM.

    @optus - As a (forced) migrating Virgin customer, to make me call your OS call centre to be asked personal details about my birth cert and lic num for no reason (my fiance didn't have to). You've lost two customers. We just don't trust you. You had our virgin details already.

    @Optus can ping gateway from an external host so it’s definitely something between the modem and the gateway or one of the two being broken

    @Optus Looks like it’s not just DNS but port 53 being open, I can SSH to hosts on that port, either there is a misconfigured firewall or my service is disabled for some reason and this is how they do it

    @Optus Modem has network access, has an optus internal ip in the 10.55.x.x range, my router has a public ip (from DHCP) and a default gateway, i can ping the modems internal address, i can’t ping the gateway, and i can’t access anything other than DNS

    @Optus The problem is that it's intermittent so it's really hard to talk to someone online when it could be fine at that moment. It's so bad I have to connect my laptop to my mobile so I can work, which I do at home.
