I have Microsoft 365 subscription through our firm through a reseller and dealing with a couple of issues. There are 7 people involved now and I'm into day 3. When it was direct with Microsoft it was just me and Microsoft. Within 1 - 2 hrs it was fixed. Buy #Office365 direct

@DTSO_says @Office365 Is Ctrl+Shift+V any help in Excel? I had the same issue in LibreOffice and I ended up defaulting to Ctrl+Shift+V -> down -> enter every time I wanted to paste

@dxgl_org @Windows On the other hand, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it and make it worse in the process. I’ve more problems with 10 (hours and hours on the phone to India) in the year I’ve had it than I *ever* had with 7. Office 365 compared to Word7 has been a veritable nightmare of complications.

@Microsoft Installing KB5005565 has broken several @onedrive features including link sharing, live document editing, Personal Vault, and other @Office365 features on the Windows apps. Removal on test devices confirms direct correlation to patch. Please resolve ASAP!

Today in microsoft authentication sucks: If you have a microsoft account with your enterprise email address, it will keep trying to log you in with the office365 account. Which means it will use the office365 exchange server instead of the one given by your DNS.

@Office365 I'm paying £60 per year for Office for Mac software that's worse than it was twenty years ago. Why hasn't this Excel for Mac glitch that every so often refuses to recognise its own file format been fixed? At least two years now it's been like this.

@anildash @yoz Even tag clouds are a short term solution to a problem that machine learning makes go away. For example, Office 365 now suggests files that are relevant to a meeting, based on criteria like title, author, how it was linked to in emails, etc.

2/2 There will be the option for students to associate an email address/Google/Office365 login later with their account (replacing their username). To simplify things, the class-join registration url will only be for students to register from scratch.

@jonnykates onedrive can be a lot cheaper if you need 1tb or less. i share my office 365 sub with 2 other people which means that it costs me ~£20/year for 1tb. i'm getting quite close to the limit, though. when i do i might build a home server with nextcloud or owncloud

@CISCO_UCCX @CisoDiagonal I think OP is alluding to the idea that public links may be guessed or overshared. If so, that doesn't mean that Onedrive is not secure, but that it can be used in an insecure way. Sharing between people in an Office365 account shouldn't suffer from that problem.

oh my lord i just had someone email in with an error that you need to update windows for so i tell him to update windows he then said he has office 365 as his OS which automatically updates so he doesn't need to update Windows

@NoMoreTerrors Oh don't I know it. I tried to set up email export for Office 365 in their policies, which was under Discoveries?? All I got was "Error, try again later". This of course needs to be done because we're migrating it all to a new host.

Solutions attempted: 1) Shutting down the computer 🚫 2) Quick repair of Office 365 install 🚫 3) Full repair of Office 365 install 🚫 4) Reinstalling trackpad driver 🚫 5) Uninstalling and reinstalling Office 365 🚫 I'm not sure what else there is left for me to try.

@johnnyriles Physical tokens e.g. yubikey are supposed to help, but I've never worked anywhere that used them so no idea if they're better in practice! Just seeing the office365 login page less than 10 times a day is the dream.

@12Knocksinna @Office365 The back end exchange server version or online would be irrelevant. What they describe is a client (assuming Outlook) issue in how it performs auto discover.

Would be nice for #microsoft to provide some customer service for the #office365 installation that refuses to launch #outlook .... 3 days, 4re-installs, 2 (non-MS) techs, ended up determining its a MS issue - no MS customer service anywhere ('cept a useless bot!)!
