@sanguineblood Yeah companion would have been good. Would also been good if they also didn't just present Batarian males. But mass effect kind of does have a patriarchy problem where all species are represented by males first. That's a different conversation tho.

@billycupid Mass Effect 3 did, yeah. They were trying to shoehorn in not just multiplayer, but an almost "live service" system before those were a thing. You had to play multiplayer in order to progress in single player. Incredibly stupid decision.

@J3J_AJXX @LegacyKillaHD You don't need trust to make billions of dollars in the gaming industry. Look at EA. EA released these broken unfinished games and still make billions of dollars every year: Battlelfield 5, Battlefront 2, Mass Effect Andromeda, Anthem, Battlefield 2042, etc.

@aerianprince @LeakyConchisnes @imkeegsx I have always had a hard time understanding why a human being would have a problem with another human (that is not them) engaging in a romantic relationship with (again someone that is not them but) another human being. It seems… odd. EA (Mass Effect) didn’t care why do others?

@Auralinus Gears 5 is a phenomenal game with a problem: It left me wanting more with the cliffhanger at the end 😭 Horde mode also was super fun. Didn't play much PvP because it's just not my cup of tea. I'm currently on the Mass Effect trilogy again, this time on Insanity difficulty 🥵

@reyesvidall Yeah, MEA had a flawed launch but overall the game was decent. All of the actual issues with the game were aesthetic and easily patched out. Was the story phenomenal? No, but it was about on par with Mass Effect One’s story. We all lost out because of the outrage machine

@BookerClay4 Games like Dragon Age and Mass Effect managed to appeal to auditory who basically wanted dating sim with fun gameplay. Its anomaly novel auditory with specifical demand in market dominated by cishet dudes who want pew-pew. The problem is what gamedevs don't want to commit to this

I've been trying to fix some audio bugs in the Mass Effect 3 multiplayer. I've discovered the audio implementation is full of problems. There's actually a sound missing on a particular animation for every playable character in the game. (Low left out of cover pistol melee.)

Cd projekt red goofed in that they bled their game to shovel in Johnny Silverhand and stretch him to the whole game, hopefully those expansions can fix it and give us a better ending than "mass effect 3 colors of sad." Because other than that it's pretty good! #Cyberpunk2077

-understand Mass Effect more than Halo and are trying to do Mass Effect’s story in Halo’s universe. And it doesn’t work well at all. It clashes hard. And that’s one of hundreds of problems with the script alone.

@BillHicks78 @mason4922 I'm not 100% sure if the Labor bashing isn't a co-ordinated Greens social media campaign. Has a certain mass effect feel to it. Some weird 'Labor bad' tangents being juxtaposed into unrelated issues. Strikes me as naive obedience to a message at best.

@FIL_PHISH @GameSpot They satiated it was impossible to use and it made it even harder to use as BioWare makes RPG elements but the frostbite software forced them to reset everything from scratch same problem with dragon age inquisition and mass effect Andromeda.

@allisondraste I firmly believe MEA would have been received way better if they just called it Andromeda and didn't attach the Mass Effect name to the title. It basically started with a negative modifier which amplified its issues and help fuel unrealistic expectations comparing it to the OT.
